Waiheke Chef is based in the Jewel of the Hauraki Gulf, Waiheke Island, inspired by a passion for great food in beautiful settings. We have drawn upon culinary experiences from around the globe, including Morocco, Italy, Spain, France, Peru and our native Chile to create a truly world class service.

Waiheke Chef is a Boutique Catering company, focused on Private Bespoke dishes for individuals through to set menus for larger group functions. We understand that food is about more than quality ingredients, it's about culture, history and a truly memorable experience.

 
 

Food Philosophy

Our native Chile shares the same Pacific Ocean with the Hauraki Gulf and our love for the sea and it's inhabitants is embodied in our practices and ingredients.

Waiheke Chef Food Philosophy

We use sustainably harvested products, organic where possible, not only to maximise the flavours and colours on your plate but to minimise our impact upon nature. 

We believe in supporting quality local producers and using whole food ingredients in a pure and simple manner to enhance rather than disguise the flavour of each component. This philosophy of simplicity carries through to our honest and innovative cooking techniques and purity of presentation.
